Mixed feelings. The food and the menu deserve top marks. The service is good in some places, less so in others (they seated us in the most crowded and "cheapest" area as if we were just cattle). Inconsistent. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a betting shop, which clashes with the expected level of quality. The decor is adequate. The location in Saint-Germain-en-Laye is ideal, opposite the castle.

A charming place with warm service and delicious food. I had the gravlax salmon, which I highly recommend. The restaurant staff were very kind in helping me with a bulky item, which I greatly appreciated.

As regulars at Le Soubise, it's always a real pleasure to come here; we feel right at home. The atmosphere is warm and the service impeccable. Special mention to Riwan, a truly fantastic waiter: smiling, attentive, and always looking after everyone's needs. We'll definitely be back.

A very good bar/restaurant opposite the castle; you can have a drink facing the castle and forget all your problems.

Went two times to cafe Le Soubise. And, both times we had very good experience with food, service and atmosphere. Their croissant, pain au chocolat and Hot chocolate were excellent. It's next to the train station and nearby the chateau, hence make it very convenient to go location wise as well.

09/03/2026: A very pleasant place; the food is simple and full of flavor. The basement can be booked for private events, which our group of friends did. We had a very enjoyable evening and the service was excellent. Thank you again!
