We go there very often when we're in Merlimont. Arnaud and his wife are very kind and friendly; it's a must-stop. Arnaud is a motorcyclist, which makes him even more likeable 😂🤟👍 so don't hesitate! Enjoy your meal!

A great experience at L’Escale! The mussels with Maroilles cheese and the mussels marinière were excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed them 😋 The waitresses are very friendly, helpful, and pleasant. The owner is also very kind and welcoming; you can tell she loves her job! A great place, we'll gladly return. Pierre, the police officer

We came several times during our stay, and were never disappointed! Whether for a drink or a meal, the service was very quick, the staff welcoming and attentive. The mussels and fries were delicious, with a generous portion of toppings. It's a bar/brasserie I highly recommend! We'll be back!

12/09/2026: We picked up a Too Good To Go box twice during our vacation. Highly recommended, especially the cakes and sweet pastries are delicious! On another day, we went back separately for lunch. This was fine in itself, although the sandwich was unfortunately a little soggy. All in all, certainly a nice place to stop by, especially for the sweet treats.
11/09/2026: We stopped for a bite to eat. How can I put it? We laugh about it now, but the service was terrible. Cutting two sandwiches in half was a huge undertaking, there were no napkins left 🤣🤣, and the toilet door was unlocked with staff busy inside...
