Simple and good food, pleasant, professional and friendly service, a lovely time in the pretty village of Saint Bonnet. I recommend it.

We were not satisfied with our experience. We called on Saturday, August 15th to make a reservation, and they said, "No, we don't take reservations..." We arrived immediately, and they offered us a cramped table inside. We refused and left. Three days later, we returned, and they asked, "Have you made a reservation? Without one, it's going to be difficult..." They did manage to find us a table on the terrace, but basically, if there are three of you, they prefer four to maximize table space. I strongly felt this need to maximize profits at the expense of customer service. The meal was good and plentiful. The desserts were really good, but the prices weren't cheap. The waitress was very pleasant and friendly. The food and ingredients are clearly a step below the quality of Auberge de Marie, which is right next door. It's a good restaurant, but it's more of a tourist trap.

Friendly welcome, good service, clear explanations of the regional dishes. Delicious and generous portions, good wine advice from the owner for future purchases, and a nice bonus: a concert on Saturday evening. Thank you to the whole team for a very enjoyable experience.
