Le stand sur Cublize

In the midst of a heatwave, Lac des Sapins is a true oasis of coolness! We came here to escape the sweltering temperatures and we weren't disappointed—the shade of the fir trees, the clear, cool water of the lake, it was exactly what we needed. A magnificent natural setting, a serene and soothing atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Perfect for swimming, walking, or simply relaxing in the shade and enjoying the peace and quiet. A true slice of paradise that we're delighted to have (re)discovered this summer. A must-do when the heat becomes unbearable!

It's a shame there's nothing open for food or drinks on Mondays and other days of the week. You have to wait until the weekend.

Go there in the morning if possible

A very pleasant and easy walk around the lake; allow 1 hour 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. There are playgrounds and an ice cream stand on the beach side, and picnic tables on the right-hand side of the lake, near the dam.

A beautiful spot for a picnic or family walk. I recommend getting an ice cream and enjoying the scenery... 👍👍👍
