Le Stromboli sur Compiegne

A very good experience at Stromboli! A lovely, quiet setting in a little corner in the city center. A fairly limited menu (which is a very good sign!) and good quality ingredients. We each ordered a focaccia, which was delicious (and generously sized). Good value for money. I will definitely return and I recommend this restaurant!

A great find! An Italian restaurant with a sublime setting, a warm welcome from the waitstaff, a menu that changes regularly, and excellent dishes.

Disappointing From the outside, this restaurant looks like a little haven of peace, with an air of la dolce vita. Don't be fooled, la dolce vita stayed in Italy 🇮🇹. The dishes: We ordered two dishes, including the "Italian-style melon salad with coppa and arugula." The first impression is simple: it looks more like an appetizer than a main course, with three sad little pieces of melon struggling on the plate. The coppa was practically nonexistent, replaced by poor-quality chorizo. The photo speaks for itself: would you pay €18.50 for this "thing"? The service: First of all, friendliness was nowhere to be seen. We asked for a menu, and the condescending reply was, "It's over there." Then, we weren't served a carafe of water, even though it was a heatwave. And when, after we asked for it, it was finally brought to us, the water was hot and undrinkable. On the plus side: The focaccia was good, and the place remains pretty and picturesque. Perhaps we were just unlucky that day… Judging by the other reviews, the establishment seemed to be of good quality.

Restaurant with Italian influences, but by no means an Italian restaurant

Incredible! The setting is magnificent and the food is excellent! One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to.

An excellent restaurant; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. Perhaps consider improving the children's menu. I highly recommend it; we'll be back! 😀

Exceptional food service and location.

What a delightful and wonderful discovery this little restaurant is, with its peaceful courtyard! A delicious meal in every way, accompanied by a very friendly and pleasant waitress. The lunchtime service is quick, which is great for those of us who work. The quality is well worth the trip!
