Le Surcouf sur Blain

Discovered by chance while driving along the road, but what a wonderful find! We had lunch on the terrace one Sunday. Excellent food, impeccable service, and very pleasant staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the two set menus at €27 each.

Lunch for 7 adults, friendly welcome and pleasant atmosphere. In summer, choose between the terrace overlooking the Nantes-Brest canal or inside. Set menu at €16.50, €27 or à la carte. Children are welcome and a microwave is available for heating baby bottles or meals. Children's menu available. Delicious cuisine and the side dishes and sauces are perfectly balanced with the meat and fish. Service is quick but not rushed, allowing time to enjoy the meal and chat with other diners. The waiter's quirky sense of humor is surprising, but he is always kind and polite. You just have to get into the spirit of things. An address to remember and return to.

I don't understand some of the negative reviews. We had one of the best meals of our entire Vélodyssée cycling tour there, from starter to dessert – nothing run-of-the-mill, everything was perfect. Thank you so much!

Average restaurant, I had fish and I think there are a lot of frozen items which are not listed on the menu.

Hello, we chose this restaurant for our wedding and for its idyllic setting... after reading some negative reviews... but we went for lunch, frankly just to reassure ourselves, and what a surprise! Flavors that awakened the taste buds, gourmet presentation, a very friendly waiter, and a very welcoming owner 😉 I highly recommend this restaurant
