Le Suroit sur Sarzeau

Excellent little restaurant by the beach, great atmosphere and food! The owner is very friendly and pleasant.

We called to reserve 45 minutes in advance, and were told no problem, but they didn't open until 7 pm. When we arrived, it was starting to rain, and the terrace was already quite full. We were told there were only outdoor seats, and that we were the last to have reserved. We hesitated to sit down, but seeing our frown, the owner offered us a table on the covered terrace. When we left an hour later, there were still 20 covered seats available?! The owner seemed a bit odd, but the young staff were very friendly.

The highlight of our stay! A small, secluded establishment, which in my opinion is what makes it so charming 😊 A breathtaking view, a simple and summery feel, and excellent value for money! And a young, friendly team who genuinely enjoy welcoming you! Thank you ☺️

The pizza was very dark. Everything else was great! The desserts are fantastic!

A very pretty and little-known spot, even among locals. The place is a bit dated, but they serve simple, well-prepared food. The portions are generous; I highly recommend the peach Melba for dessert—it's delicious. The welcome is friendly, and the view is breathtaking. You can also enjoy a pleasant and peaceful stroll along the pier.

The food is good, the setting is magnificent

Family meal for 8 today, we all ate very well. Mussels for half the table (really delicious), burgers (also good), and pizza (I agree with some of the comments, not amazing in terms of flavor). The desserts are as beautiful as they are delicious. There was a small issue with one of the crepes, which was corrected, thank you. The sense of service and customer satisfaction is evident in this restaurant; I find that increasingly rare and therefore important to highlight, thank you. The staff is pleasant, contrary to what I've read in some reviews. And the view is superb! We will gladly return.

Nice little restaurant with a sea view. The mussels with Roquefort cheese were good.
