Excellent restaurant, the waiter was incredibly kind and friendly. There are several vegetarian options and the food is very well seasoned. We loved it. Thank you for your hospitality.

We really enjoyed the food and service at Surya. It is a family run restaurant that takes good care of its customers. We had the butter naan, matar pula, chicken tikka tandoori and palak paneer. These were delicious without any of the typical extra butter used elsewhere.....felt like we were eating at home. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Excellent. We were welcomed around 2 pm on a sweltering day, just as the supposed manager was about to close for medical reasons. He seated us anyway and served us dishes that exceeded all our expectations. It was delicious. Coffee at the end of the meal and yogurt for my little sister were generously offered to us on the house. We greatly appreciated this gesture. Thank you so much, we have very fond memories of our short stay in town 😊

Absolutely top-notch! I'm very familiar with Indian cuisine as it's practiced in France… and everything in this restaurant is incredibly delicious! Homemade, traditional… and served with a smile for 40 years! My recommendations: the eggplant fritters, the lamb masala, and the kulfi!!! Thank you so much 😁

02/08/2026: This isn't the first time we've eaten at this restaurant, and each time we've received a warm welcome. The service is simply perfect, and the waiters are incredibly kind. Add to that the fact that the food is simply delicious. The dishes truly transport you. Moreover, the portions are just right. Le Palais du Raja remains the best restaurant in Tours, both for its exceptionally good cuisine and for the service where we are always pampered. ☺️

21/05/2026: Former student of Greek. 5 years and never disappointed (I mean never). Go for it without hesitation, it's a penalty shootout without a goalkeeper. The chef is a gem 🥰.
