Completely satisfied with lunch with my eldest son in this Touraine landmark of Indian cuisine. The dishes are generous, well presented and tasty, the welcome is pleasant, the service quick and efficient, and it's lovely to sit on the terrace.

Delicious little Indian restaurant. We ate there on Friday, August 31st, and all I can say is that they are absolutely lovely, incredibly attentive, and when we were joking with the owner who said she'd know if we really enjoyed it if we came back, and we mentioned we weren't from the area, she went into the kitchen and offered us a dessert. All I can say is thank you so much, it was truly delicious, and they are such sweethearts. I wish them all the best.

Still as good as ever, at a reasonable price for an evening out. It was very crowded, and as a result, everyone arrived at the same time. The service was complicated, but they managed well.

Beautifully presented dishes bursting with flavor. Absolutely delicious! The palak paneer was excellent and the naan was superb.

Excellent restaurant, the waiter was incredibly kind and friendly. There are several vegetarian options and the food is very well seasoned. We loved it. Thank you for your hospitality.

We really enjoyed the food and service at Surya. It is a family run restaurant that takes good care of its customers. We had the butter naan, matar pula, chicken tikka tandoori and palak paneer. These were delicious without any of the typical extra butter used elsewhere.....felt like we were eating at home. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

02/08/2026: This isn't the first time we've eaten at this restaurant, and each time we've received a warm welcome. The service is simply perfect, and the waiters are incredibly kind. Add to that the fact that the food is simply delicious. The dishes truly transport you. Moreover, the portions are just right. Le Palais du Raja remains the best restaurant in Tours, both for its exceptionally good cuisine and for the service where we are always pampered. ☺️

28/06/2026: Decent kebab with a good selection. Very good portion of fries.
21/05/2026: Former student of Greek. 5 years and never disappointed (I mean never). Go for it without hesitation, it's a penalty shootout without a goalkeeper. The chef is a gem 🥰.
