Absolutely top-notch! I'm very familiar with Indian cuisine as it's practiced in France… and everything in this restaurant is incredibly delicious! Homemade, traditional… and served with a smile for 40 years! My recommendations: the eggplant fritters, the lamb masala, and the kulfi!!! Thank you so much 😁

Excellent value for money and pleasant staff

I highly recommend Le Surya in Tours! The welcome was impeccable from beginning to end; the staff is warm, attentive, and very professional. The restaurant is quite small, but that's precisely what makes it so charming: the atmosphere is intimate, very pretty, and pleasant, perfect for a romantic meal or a quiet moment. You really feel at home there. As for the food, I have absolutely no complaints: everything was excellent. The dishes are flavorful, generous, prepared with quality ingredients and perfectly balanced spices. You can taste the expertise and authenticity in every plate. One small point that will reassure many people: the meats (chicken, lamb, etc.) are halal. My Muslim brothers and sisters can go there with complete confidence. A wonderful discovery for me. Everything came together perfectly for a fantastic experience: the welcome, the setting, the ambiance, and the quality of the food. The next time I'm in Tours, I won't hesitate for a second to eat here again. I recommend it 100%!

The welcome was rather cold; we really felt like we were bothering them. Our plates were cleared quickly, almost hastily, which wasn't very pleasant. Fortunately, the meal was decent and quite good, which somewhat redeemed the experience.
