Le Tartan sur Saint-Quay-Portrieux

Everything always goes very well in every respect; I go at least 2 to 4 times a year. The only slightly unpleasant point is that most of the servers are slow and not very efficient, and above all, the manager is a bit cold.

A tempting menu, a magnificent setting, both the terrace and the interior, and a dynamic, attentive, and very friendly staff. The dishes are delicious and very generous, the salads are super-dressed, the meat is tender and flavorful, and the charcuterie is... a real treat! Local and regional products. Everything is homemade (the foie gras is simply... Yum!!!). The price is more than reasonable. A wonderful discovery that will certainly become our go-to holiday spot. Thank you to the entire TARTAN team. Like every year, 2026 won't stop our visit to TARTAN. What can we say except that it's always top-notch? Even the takeaway pizzas (a first for us at TARTAN) are delicious (thank you, FIFI, the pizza chef!). Thank you to the whole team. A must-visit in Saint-Quay. Excellent restaurant, quality ingredients, very friendly staff and management. Don't hesitate to go. We're from Normandy and I highly recommend this establishment to tourists for a wonderful experience. Very reasonable prices. Spotlessly clean.

The food was good, but the meat on the kebabs was undercooked, it took 45 minutes to order ice cream, and there was a staff shortage.

Our goat cheese salad was very generous and delicious. The major drawback was the service: a woman who was visibly annoyed with the staff in front of the customers, particularly when she pointed out that the bathroom door shouldn't be closed because the lock was broken and there was a note on the door that needed to be read. The only appropriate response from this woman would have been to apologize for this significant problem for a restaurant instead of lecturing them about reading. I hope this has been resolved since then. Despite the generous portions and reasonable prices, I won't be returning because of the service, which made many people uncomfortable. For a customer, service accounts for 50% of the overall experience.

Pleasant terrace, delicious sausage and mashed potatoes, a good place to eat in Saint-Quay.

The pizzas were very good, as was the fish, but we were very disappointed by the appetizers, which were very expensive for the small quantity!
