Le Terminus sur Toulon

Tony gave me a warm welcome and served me in no time, as I had a train to catch. I enjoyed a delicious mackerel spread with a glass of white wine, and my coffee was on the house. Eddy, the owner of this restaurant opposite the train station, also owns the Crêperie Toulonnaise, where I had lunch on my way there and received the same warm welcome while enjoying a delicious buckwheat galette. Don't hesitate to go to either one; both are opposite the station: the terraces are lovely and the service is impeccable.

This brasserie is very convenient for lunch or dinner, and the service is quick and the portions are very generous. However, I have my doubts about the veal kidneys; my plate was full of them, and I think they were more likely pork or beef because the taste and texture were different from veal kidneys. Good food nonetheless. Excellent ice cream.

I wanted to leave a quick comment to let you know we had a very pleasant time. Our waiter was incredibly kind, very responsive, and served us very quickly. Plus, he was from Normandy! It was a real treat.

The service was a little slow, but it didn't bother us; we were in the air conditioning before taking the TGV. The food was very good.

A hearty breakfast with excellent freshly squeezed orange juice. Perfect for a relaxing wait for the train. Decent and friendly service.
