Le Terroir Restaurant sur Santenay

The dishes were beautifully presented, the quality of the ingredients was excellent, the portions were generous, and the bread pairings were delightful. The service was efficient and friendly. The value for money was very good. In short: a very enjoyable culinary journey.

Very decent, popular and beautiful restaurant in Santenay offering good value food and wines by the glass. Good stop if you are cycling along the Route de Grand Crus.

The seating area by the fountain is lovely. The food is very good, and they have an extensive wine list. They also offer various set menus. Unfortunately, the bill was incorrect; one dish was charged twice. After we complained, it was corrected immediately. Be prepared to spend some time there. We spent almost two hours in total, just for our main course and coffee. It wasn't our fault, but it wasn't a problem, as the setting is very pleasant.

A wonderful time, a fantastic welcome from Fanny, excellent food, all enjoyed on the terrace. I highly recommend it. The only downside was the very noisy Americans next door.

Sunday meal for Mother's Day. The restaurant was full. The meal was very good, the wine was perfect. We were in our party of 6 adults and 1 child (3 years old). We arrived at 12:40 PM and were the last to leave at 3:45 PM, even though we had to push our way in, especially for the little one. The waiter's response was that they serve in order of arrival. So, you have to arrive right when they open to avoid spending half the afternoon at the table. I think there's a staff shortage. We saw 3 waiters; 4 would be more appropriate. A review was posted about the same issues for Valentine's Day. The management's response was that an adjustment had been made for certain events. Apparently, Mother's Day isn't one of them. Overall, we were very disappointed.

Cute restaurant with ok, yet high priced food options. I honestly wasn’t impressed.

I had a wonderful time with my brother; the food and menus are very well thought out and varied, with prices consistent with the location. The portions are generous, the recipes are excellent, and the service is incredible. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, with friendly people who enjoy sharing their knowledge and expertise (a special thank you to Dylan, whom I often asked questions). Thank you to the team and the chefs who lived up to all the hype! I'll be back soon!

Not up to the expectations set by the menu. The fish and coq au vin were slightly overcooked and dry. The wilted salad accompanying the cheese crisp... Average

While passing through the area, we booked a table at this restaurant and it was a delightful discovery. The dishes were high-quality and delicious. The staff were attentive and clearly wanted to please their customers.
