Chronicle of a feast that wasn't exactly festive for the taste buds, but was entertaining! (By a lucid stomach and a sharp tongue) It seems that peace and quiet has become a luxury we can still afford: not a single roaring reveler in sight, not a table of guests shouting their hearts out like Ligue 2 fans. There's nothing to say about that; it's laid-back, it's subdued, it's almost monastic. As for the service, it's cheerful and very kind, but you can tell it's perfectly timed: more automatic than my Italian coffee maker. It's almost robotic, you know? So there you have it, the waiter's recitation about the dishes isn't a presentation, it's a tirade. A real café-theater sketch, gastronomic version. It's as if the menu is being imposed on you with the dramatic intensity of a Molière on steroids. Maybe one day they'll do it in alexandrines. Mind you, it's funny. And they've got to warm up, these budding young artists. Grill-wise, there's good, there's not-so-good. The terrine, for example, is easy to tease. Subtle, fine, and certainly not too salty, which further highlights—like a neon sign in a cellar—the total absence of salt on the table! An oversight? A philosophy? A counterattack to save the arteries? Who knows...! The main course, however, has forgotten to wake up. It's not bad, but it's as expressive as an insurance salesman's speech: bland, lukewarm, and the meat cooked as evenly as a Breton road. The pieces are a toss-up: some melt, others hold their own. Fortunately, dessert lifts the spirits. The almond tuile is a truly wonderful surprise. Crunchy, fragrant, a success! It's a shame there's only one for three... At that price, one more tuile wouldn't have been a drain on the cash flow. And the coffee, ah, that little Ethiopian juice! A true black gem. We ordered a second one, that's saying something. And then we thought that a goodwill gesture, a little wink from the owner, would have been the cherry on the mocha. But no. It seems the place hasn't (yet) reached the next level in terms of customer attraction. As for the talbins, it's €185 for three. In short: we sense there's potential, but we'll have to refine it, heat the dishes a bit more, add a bit of salt, and loosen the service a little. SEO won't happen tomorrow morning, but the desire is there. And that's not so bad, is it?

Tilia was a benchmark restaurant for me. Third visit and a disappointment compared to previous ones. The products remain high quality, but why so much salt? It bothered me when I was eating. The server wasn't very comfortable. He was serious in his service, but inaudible when presenting the dishes, and he showed no emotion or warmth (perhaps he was a beginner, and in that case, it's understandable). But a good meal is a combination of food and service. Too bad...

Very, very good restaurant, well beyond what I could have expected, from the amuse bouche to the dessert. Impeccable menu for Mother's Day. Go there with your eyes closed.

Le Tilia is an exceptional establishment. The welcome is friendly and sincere, and the dishes are delicious, with superb presentation and subtle flavors. Nothing is missing, and I highly recommend you go there. Moreover, the region is magnificent for hiking. Chef André Chouvin, trained by the greatest chefs, offers gourmet cuisine using fresh, quality ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and elegant, and the service is attentive.
