In response to you young women who think you can just settle in wherever you like, without considering the crowds and the number of people. To you who think you deserve to be pampered like in a palace because you can bring us down at any moment with your disparaging remarks. You were never pleasant or in a good mood. Know that we, too, have our expectations as customers, and you were the worst. Especially considering that you also work in a service industry on the Brussels/Bourg-Saint-Maurice train line. Contempt, no respect, arrogance...and that's putting it mildly.

Great bar. Good snacks. Injured barman guy was friendly, service great. Showed the 6 nations on tv and there was even a really enjoyable bar fight to watch. Top marks.

Popped in for a refresh after the drive to Bourg St Maurice for a cheeky weekends ski Very friendly and helpful A snack and some beers hit the spot as you watch the world go by

We received a very warm welcome. All the dishes were enjoyed (raclette, fondue, tartiflette, steak tartare, waffles), and the portions were generous. The service was pleasant and quick. As annual visitors, we'll definitely be saving this address. Please note that the pierrade and the Savoyard hat are no longer offered.

La Marmite

20/02/2026: It's not easy to find a truly high-quality restaurant in Arcs 1800. There are some decent ones, but the real mountain quality I'm looking for, with good, well-prepared ingredients, I found at La Marmite. No double seating here, excellent specialties, generous portions, and top quality. We tried several establishments to really appreciate the difference. Add to that a warm welcome, friendly service, beautiful decor, and fair prices, and you can't go wrong. I haven't found anything better in Arcs 1800 this week, and I should mention that I didn't try any restaurants on the slopes.
16/02/2026: Pleasant and efficient service. Excellent Savoyard fondue!
