I come to this establishment regularly; it's very pleasant and well-located. The food is good and the atmosphere is friendly. However, the cleanliness of the terrace is another matter entirely. The ground is never cleaned, it's sticky, dusty, and covered in old leaves. It really needs a good wash in the morning. The tables are dirty and cleaned hastily. It's a shame because the place has the potential to be much more pleasant and full of flowers.

I visited The Toucan Pub spontaneously with some colleagues during a business trip, and overall we had a really enjoyable evening. The area was very lively and busy, which is typical for this area. Despite the rain, we managed to get a nice spot inside at the end, which worked out perfectly. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, exactly the kind of place where you can unwind after work without feeling rushed. We shared several tapas dishes between us, which made for a very sociable and enjoyable evening. Service was very good throughout, and I especially appreciated that the staff spoke English, as my French is still fairly limited. Overall, a good and popular pub with a nice atmosphere, friendly service, and enjoyable food. I’d definitely recommend it for drinks and a relaxed evening out. Just don’t expect exactly the same style of tapas you might find in Spain. 🍻
