First time at this establishment and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal with fast service and truly friendly staff... quite rare, and worth mentioning. We will gladly return for another pleasant family meal.

I count my calories with an app that analyzes photos of my meals to find restaurants. This burrata salad was perfect for my remaining protein and very tasty. The setting is pleasant and quiet.

Garden Ice Cafe

07/09/2026: We enjoyed a truly exceptional meal at this establishment! The quality of the ingredients was outstanding, and the flavors were magnificent! The service was impeccable, and the setting was stunning.
07/09/2026: It's a shame I don't live in Brive because their ice cream sundaes are excellent. Well, I'll find an excuse to come back and try the rest...

Café l'Univers

11/09/2026: Very, very good. Enjoyable. You'll have a great time.
02/09/2026: As tourists, we stopped at this bistro for lunch. We ate outside, where there was some passing traffic, and a group of people inside made it quite noisy, but not unpleasant. The service was quick, the owners were friendly and attentive to what was missing (an empty bread tray, for example). They offer classic French dishes: excellent bavette steak with shallots, or the butcher's cut, and for dessert, a delicious crème brûlée. The very definition of a bistro. Everything you expect from a bistro is there: simple, French cuisine with good value! We recommend it!
