Le Transatlantique sur Jard-Sur-Mer

We were looking for a late-night restaurant, and the only ones who were willing to welcome us were the young, dynamic team. The dishes were well-presented and tasty.

Very warm welcome! A small water bowl for the dogs was provided at the entrance. The service and atmosphere of the restaurant were excellent. Slightly disappointed with the savory dish, but the dessert was a real surprise!

Very good experience, whether it was the service or the food, everything was very good. Two interesting menus for all budgets.

A family with 3 young children arrived at 12:32 p.m. and were served at 2:09 p.m. We waited a long time without even offering a piece of bread to our children. No apology from the waiter, an elderly gentleman, who was also aggressive, telling us that there were a lot of people when we dared to after an hour of waiting. However, people who arrived after us were served before us and wondered why we weren't served. The children were getting impatient, which is normal I think? Neighbors saw our children were hungry and complaining and kindly offered us bread. We thank them🙏🏻. This gentleman walked past us several times, ignoring us. However, we saw him asking everyone if everything was going well. I think this gentleman has a personal problem with us or with me because I'm a foreigner, and we booked before coming, so we didn't settle in like a flower. Dear sir, if you dislike this job, which you have no professionalism about, career change exists because in the restaurant business, the customer is king. The food was good, just like the first time we came in 2021, but the long wait doesn't deserve more than 1 star. Despite everything, the young lady who served us and the lady at the cash register were kind enough to apologize. But we are left with a sad experience because of this gentleman. If he's still there, we don't plan on coming back a third time, unfortunately, to the Transat. Thank you for the coffee as a gesture of goodwill.

Came by chance, excellent food and impeccable service. If the opportunity arises again we will return with pleasure.

Another very good experience! A varied menu Attentive, professional, and fast service; notably a short blonde waitress who arrived at the end of August, unfortunately, her name isn't listed. A very beautiful setting. The dishes are reasonably sized and the prices are fair. The children's menu isn't simply "nuggets and fries" like you find in most restaurants, but they also offer a choice of three varied dishes. I recommend the red fruit tiramisu and the Périgord mussels. Nothing could be improved on the menus offered. The choice of dishes is very limited, which is a shame. There's also an additional dish with Périgord mussel sauce, which is excellent, but with a different base, such as tagliatelle. The menu also specifies that hot chocolates are only available at lunchtime.
