Le Tropicana sur Douville

Basic but clean rooms. Tried hydromassage 2 times on different days and never worked Good breakfast although a little "sad" We had dinner twice with overly elaborate dishes and all this to the detriment of the raw materials. The desserts however were excellent. My truffle omlete at a cost of 23 euros (one omlete!) Tasted just like egg, the truffle definitely got lost in the kitchen!!! Although I pointed out to the waitress that my wife knew nothing, neither she nor the owner present in the room were interested in my complaints. The value for money is excessive for what is offered.

We enjoyed this hotel on a family trip. The rooms are clean. The bed is comfortable. The metal shutters allow you to sleep long in the morning. The staff is nice. There is a swimming pool spa, very good for swimming. There is a nice view from the rooms located at the back, near, forest, small pond, tennis court, etc.

The best part of this hotel is undeniably the restaurant with its refined gastronomic cuisine. We enjoyed ourselves from starter to dessert! The young waitress is very friendly and efficient. The hotel is very clean and offers several activities. Small downside regarding some slightly aging equipment, such as the jacuzzi which does not work very well and the shower with jets in the rooms, also a little dated and therefore of no interest. The possible walk around the adjoining lake is very enjoyable in addition to the mini golf, the tennis court, the ping pong tables...

Well placed. Pleasant and spacious room. I came with family for several days. Balcony overlooking the lake. Free access to mini golf, outdoor bowling, tennis and spa. Please note that the counter-current swimming spa with relaxation area is not heated. The jets in the relaxation section are not working. Simple catering but with fresh quality products. The friendly waiters and especially the lady with the glasses. There is just the boss who is not very smiling and grumbles easily. When we arrived for 3 days in half board, I regretted not having had an explanation of how the activities worked. Not very commercial it does not reflect the image of housing in France.

Séjour très agréable,reposant. Service au top. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine ainsi que du terrain de tennis, agréables balades aux alentours. Quand à l' hôtel, accueil très sympathique, des hôtes charmants, une chambre avec balcon, personnel irréprochable et le restaurant une tuerie, produits locaux, cuisine raffinée. Et un petit déjeuner copieu pour démarrer la journée. Un grand grand merci à la patronne ainsi qu'à toute l'équipe. Ne changez rien. Une chose est certaine, nous reviendrons. Georges, Geneviève

Very pleasant stay even if it was only 2 days. Nice and clean room. A small reserve in the bathroom: it would be nice to have some storage space to place your toiletries and care items. The restaurant is quite decent and the staff are very welcoming and helpful.

Pleasant hotel with its many services: mini golf, tennis court, swimming spa... the rooms are large and comfortable. Friendly staff. Very good meal.

Very warm welcome, very pleasant room with terrace. Garage for motorcycles offered by the manager. Very good cuisine (several different dishes chosen by our family, there were 9 of us and everyone was very satisfied). We will come back !

Nous recommandons ce restaurant. Nous y sommes allés entre amis lors d'un passage dans la région. Le restaurant est très bien situé entre Périgueux et Bergerac. L'accueil y est excellent. Les prix du menu étape sont très corrects compte tenu de la qualité du repas qui est servi.
