Le Troquet restaurant in Cancale. A very good experience at this restaurant. We came with a Smartbox voucher, were very warmly welcomed, and the seafood menus were excellent, both in presentation and taste. Our son even had a children's menu (not on the regular menu), which was excellent. Highly recommended.

The cuisine is simply exceptional. It's THE hidden gem of Cancale harbor. Passionate cooking using fresh produce—a rarity in the port area—magnified by the chef's talent. The music is pleasant and the service incredibly enjoyable. I hesitated to post this review as I wanted to keep this wonderful place a secret just for myself and my loved ones, but generous, dedicated, and talented people deserve recognition for their work. Don't miss it.

It's not the cheapest on the street, only the food made more than up for it. We had the oysters steamed with leek and the filled artichoke and it was delicious

An intimate place that seems frozen in time, where the chef takes us on a journey through his surprising and seasonal culinary creations. The wine list perfectly complements the menus, which are, however, a bit pricey (count at least €200 for two; aperitif, starter, and main course with wine). The service is adequate but not exceptional (no ice bucket for the wine, for example) and the place is well located.

If we don't take into account the seafood side which seems to be in the upper average of the restaurants in the port, the kitchen masters the presentation as well as the combinations of flavors in its dishes, a real treat!
