Nice atmosphere. Many regulars.
We were here 13 years ago. Still the same owner, only he speaks French.
Anyone who loves good French home cooking will be in good hands here.

Didn't stay at the inn, but a bike ride along the canals of the Marais Poitevin is very beautiful 👍 and well worth the detour

On Friday, May 15, 2026, my wife and I discovered this little restaurant. We received a very warm welcome; I assume it was run by a father and daughter.
We ordered the €33 set menu. You really have to have a hearty appetite; from the appetizer to the dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed everything. But when the eel arrives, your taste buds will be awakened! The owner puts on a show, speaking in the Vendée dialect with a touch of the local dialect. We had a wonderful time, laughing and enjoying ourselves.
We will definitely return to this restaurant.
In the meantime, I wish you continued success. Well done to you both!

Very warm welcome.
A place that has managed to retain the charm of a traditional riverside café, like those we know along the Loire.

A very good hostel, simple, efficient, and inexpensive. Relaxed and unpretentious.
I highly recommend it, especially since it's open on a public holiday with a special €15 set menu.
The hostel is looking for a new owner.
