On our holiday road trip, we stumbled upon this brasserie tucked away in a backwater (:-)). 5 stars!! as one of my sons would say. Excellent welcome, very good food!! (It reminded me of my grandmother's cooking). The waiter (probably a father and daughter) was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The quality (very good) quantity/price ratio is simply exceptional! Thank you, in 2026, for ensuring that places like this still exist!

We're in Poitou.
Generosity.
Kindness.
The owner is gruff but pleasant, like the locals, but you have to get to know him.
And that characteristic verb of this region that I love so much.
The dishes are generous, like the man himself.
The cuisine is simple, but typical.
It's a good place to be.

A charming little restaurant whose quality my sweetheart had been raving about for weeks.
Today I finally had the chance to discover it.
Indeed, the dishes reflect the owners: warm, genuine, and full of delicious food!
