Le Val D'Arly sur Flumet

We had a fantastic time at Le Val d’Arly restaurant! We came with friends to share a fondue and had a wonderful evening. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere was convivial. The restaurant operates by reservation only, which allows for pleasant and relaxed service. The setting is cozy and typically mountain-style; you immediately feel at home. The fondue was truly delicious, well-balanced, and perfect for sharing with friends. We also took the time to chat with the owner at the end of our meal, a very pleasant moment that added to the authentic feel of the experience. A great place that I highly recommend if you're ever in the area.

We were disappointed with the welcome we received. Arriving as a group of six at 1 p.m. during peak season to a half-empty dining room, we were rudely dismissed by a man leaving the kitchen without even a greeting. We understand that service is no longer available, but the lack of politeness is deplorable. It's a shame because the menu looked promising.

I stopped for a bite to eat to break up my journey. No regrets. A small, beautifully decorated room with a mountain atmosphere. The pizza was beautiful and generous, and the homemade crust was thin and delicious. Perfect
