This is a roadside restaurant about 3 minutes from the center of La Roche sur Yon, there is enough parking space. We go back, and we pay for lunch at the start. We paid 17.70 for a meal (starter + main course + dessert) with a coke. There is plenty of space, and a fairly wide choice for the starter buffet. Concerning the dish, there were 3 possible choices (beef, fish and guinea fowl). We had the beef with fries, and I must admit that the meat was very tender. I recommend it if you're in the area.

Today, Christmas menu, with salmon, duck leg, log. Honestly, for 14 euros, it’s ridiculous. The duo of salmon scallops (even if it's scallops) a stuffed duck leg, a delicious chocolate log, it was very very good. Well done to the cooks and this price of 14 euros seems so outdated. Well done

Je vie à la Roche depuis quelques années et je ne connaissais pas je n’ai pas été déçue c’est excellent par contre ne pas oublier de payer avant de déjeuner

23/02/2024: I went to eat at this restaurant once, but that was a long time ago, in 2010, when it was still called Maître Kanter's Tavern. I have very good memories of it. Now, I regularly pass by this restaurant in the evening to consult the menu, perhaps just to return. But when I see the work right outside the door, I pity the bosses. I hope for their sake that the work has no impact on their customers. The other evening I wandered past and thought of a recent song by Pierre Perret called "Paris saccagée" released last year; And the idea came to me to perhaps write a song on the same model, but entitled “La Roche-Sur-Yon en travail”! All this work at the same time in La Roche, fed up, and I hope it doesn't bother the traders too much.
