We ended up at Le Vauban because the restaurants in the village where we were staying were full. And what a surprise! There were 10 of us: 3 families. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal; young and old alike were delighted. Everything is homemade. The service was excellent, and the chef even came to see us at the end of our meal. We went back two days later. Bravo!

Thursday evening was cold, the rain was pouring down, and our camper spirits were flagging. But Le Vauban immediately brought back a burst of sunshine: excellent, simple, and delicious food (special mention for the ravioli with daube and the superb pinsa), a fantastic, friendly, and professional team, and a welcoming dining room with everything needed to keep children entertained during meals (books and games). After that, the weekend took a much better turn! So we went back to extend the enjoyment!

This is a review for the restaurant (not the hotel).
Excellent service, excellent food. The chef came to ask about our satisfaction after the meal and explained where the ingredients came from. Everything is homemade.
The portions are generous. The prices are truly justified. A very good place to eat.

We had lunch at the restaurant, so I can't comment on the rooms.
The service was perfect from start to finish, from all the waitresses! The meal was incredible: the meats, the homemade fries, and the melt-in-your-mouth gnocchi were all delicious. A real treat. Thank you to the chef for taking the time to chat with us; the whole team is fantastic, thank you so much, we had a wonderful time! 🩵💛
