We returned to this restaurant after several years, and it's still just as good.
We recommend the sauerkraut with five meats.

A remarkable place, both for its cuisine and its warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The owner is incredibly kind and attentive, as is the lady of the house. You're pampered, and the food is absolutely delicious and authentic. The flavors blend harmoniously, a perfect balance between tradition and personal flair. And all this with a lovely view of the port of Vannes. A truly excellent experience! Thank you so much.

Being Alsatian at heart and by birth, but now living in western France, we spent a weekend in Vannes. Sitting down at Le Vent d'Est, we felt right at home. Delicious food, impeccable service—a real treat.

A little piece of Alsace in Vannes
Thank you for allowing us to return to our region for an evening.
From the welcome to the service, everything was perfect. We rediscovered authentic dishes, and a big thumbs up for the fleischnakas, which were better than some restaurants in Alsace.
We will gladly return as soon as we are in the area.

Go without hesitation (remember to book) everything is perfect: the food, the service, and the chef. You can feel the passion of this great team. The little walnut, olive, and rocket cake for an aperitif is amazing! 😉
