The food is very good. High-quality cuisine. Taking orders is a hassle. There was a mistake when the dishes arrived, and a waitress complained. It lacks a bit of consideration for someone who dines at a different time.

Coming from Normandy, and with the pleasure of returning to his beloved ravines, we had a wonderful time at Au Vent du Nord while passing through the region. What a welcome! A warm and inviting restaurant with delicious food! Highly recommended.

Top restaurant, the warm crab is an absolute must-try if you want to enjoy brown crab without much effort. Delicious dessert: sorbet flambéed with Grand Marnier.

We had cycled past here two days earlier and found it very inviting. However, when we came back for dinner, we found the restaurant's ambiance more eerie than inviting. I'd also never seen carpeting in a restaurant before. The food, however, was quite tasty, and the foie gras is highly recommended.

A very pleasant surprise upon returning from a hike at Cap Blanc-Nez. A friendly, family atmosphere. I've rarely eaten such perfectly cooked mussels (from Ambleteuse). The shaded terrace has a unique decor. I highly recommend it.

05/08/2026: Amazing location, the view is superb. We went to eat there, but there were no seats outside. The food looks good. The next day we went for a refreshing drink. Sat and enjoyed the view and warm weather. We would definitely comeback when we’re in the neighbourhood.

19/08/2026: We arrived with our two children without a reservation. We were greeted adequately. The food wasn't bad, but nothing special. The portions were rather small and lacked character, especially the sauces (the peppercorn sauce barely tasted of pepper, and the same went for the Maroilles cheese sauce). The salads were served without dressing. Yet the price wouldn't be excessive if the quantity and quality were slightly better. As it stood, I found our meal quite expensive for what was offered. I won't even mention the desserts, which I found outrageously expensive (€3.50 for a scoop of Carte d'Or ice cream). We decided to skip them.
08/08/2026: Family-run restaurant. Just a few kilometers from Cap Gris-Nez. Very well located.
