The diabolo arrived lukewarm without ice, the ice cream sundae had deflated whipped cream (clearly it had been sitting around), and the crepes were cold, meaning they were pre-made and not even warmed up. Not an amazing experience.

Highly recommended. Quick service, generous portions, and prices that reflect the quality and size of the food. The manager was very friendly; we were going to order a lot of food and she warned us about the portion sizes so we wouldn't order too much. A nice touch—not everywhere is this helpful. We really liked the place, right by the canal and very busy, with a great atmosphere. We would definitely go back.

Excellent restaurant on the Place des Halles. We tried the rillettes, the baby squid, the burger, and the mussels. Everything was delicious and well-prepared! Good value for money.

Bar Francois

09/09/2026: A typical place with very friendly, helpful, and responsive staff. Local cuisine, using regional products – we ate very well!
05/09/2026: I loved the food; the set menu, main course and dessert, was €16. The salmon was delicious, and the woman who served us was wonderful.
