Le Vert Mesnil sur Tilques

Quite an ok restaurant but had higher expectations given the location and environment. Good beef fillet but the potatoes were like yesterday's fried, good wine. The room has the potential to be made cozy and romantic, but that was taken away by the spotlight lighting in the ceiling.

The modern style decor is not very warm. While taking a glass of champagne, I thought that I would be presented with the bottle...a little disappointed with the service. the amuse bouche (1 small verrine of red beetroot with a strip of Aosta-type ham at the top) which arrived 30 minutes after our aperitifs were served... 1st course (starter) served 1h45 after our arrival...I have the impression that hotel guests were served more quickly. Otherwise for the rest correct

We had a great time, even advertised as simple, the meal was excellent, the taste, the atmosphere, and the superb setting were an unexpected surprise. We highly recommend this place which deserves to be known. Best wishes.

Being part of the castle of Tilques we ate at this restaurant...enjoyed the dishes in general...menu at 40e starter, main course and dessert...

Very good restaurant, really cheap, however, a lot of waiting, 35/40 minutes
