A very nice restaurant, the starters are very good (egg trio, reblochon croquettes), and the specialties such as the fondue are also very good! The waiter is very pleasant and professional.

A super French restaurant. My daughter and I visited twice during a ski trip to Val Thorens. The food is excellent and the staff really go out of their way to make the meal an enjoyable experience. Wine very reasonable priced.

A chalet that will transport you. A unique and welcoming place! I love the cozy atmosphere with all the wood paneling! Go for it without hesitation, you'll have a wonderful time! Thanks again to the waitress upstairs for the fantastic welcome!

As we do every year during our stay, we booked dinner at this same restaurant. It's been at least 20 years and it's still just as delicious. We had a lovely family evening. I highly recommend it...

A truly wonderful evening at Le Vieux Chalet in Val Thorens, spent with six people enjoying an excellent dinner. The welcome was warm and the atmosphere convivial, with a typically mountain feel. Everyone found something to their liking, from the Savoyard fondue for two to the venison stew, beef fillet, and pork cheeks—all perfectly cooked and generously portioned. We paired our meal with a very good 2017 Volnay, then finished with some very generous coffees (so delicious they were meant to be shared!) and a 9th-century Chartreuse liqueur to end on a truly authentic note. A charming restaurant, ideal for an evening with friends or family in Val Thorens. A place to recommend without hesitation!

17/04/2026: Service without fault. Friendly and efficient staff, the nannies in particular were fantastic. Location great, 20m from Bruyeres 1 lift and the nursery slope. Hotel comfortable and practical. Rooms a little tight and dark (about which they can do nothing at all); all things considered, a genuinely superb package.
13/03/2026: Brilliant choice for a family ski holiday. Staff are excellent and really friendly. The kid's club staff were great and really enjoyed their caring duties with all the children, this made the whole holiday go smoothly, definitely recommended.
