The surprise: chance and hunger led us to this roadside restaurant!
What a wonderful surprise! Despite the late hour and without a reservation, the chef agreed to welcome us and cook for us! The ingredients were incredibly fresh, cooked with so much love. My husband even recommended a second dessert! The wife was in the kitchen, the husband in the dining room: a truly delightful character. You chat with him like an old friend! And if you love coffee, we made an unexpected discovery: the opportunity to taste one of the most expensive coffees in the world at an unbelievable price compared to other establishments!!! Shhh, I won't tell you any more; just ask the husband, he'll tell you all about the "BLUE MOUNTAIN"... Thank you so much for this timeless experience, and be sure to book before you come! See you very soon, I hope 🙏
A country restaurant just the way we like them. A set menu (main course and dessert) for €15, featuring only local ingredients, beautifully presented dishes. An excellent artisanal andouillette sausage, superb farm-fresh fromage blanc! A very good, unpretentious restaurant, simple, with fresh, local produce.
The cook is an artist, and her dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious and generous. The old oven is definitely worth a detour, a long detour even! Lovely table setting, lovely tableware.
In short, the old oven is a must-visit. Reservations recommended.
Excellent meal. The presentation and quality of the dishes were superb. Plenty of food, even for a hearty eater. Try the brioche for dessert. Very welcoming. A restaurant worth discovering.
Family meal for a birthday celebration for 20 people. Warm welcome.
Beautifully presented and generous portions, refined cuisine.
Excellent value for money.
