Le Vieux Mazot sur Saint-Jeoire

We were more than satisfied with our experience at the restaurant "Le Vieux Mazot". It was our first time there, even though we live just a stone's throw away, but we will definitely return. The welcome was very friendly and the setting ideal for a lovely family meal. The portions were generous and the food was excellent!

August 9, 2026. I discovered this restaurant, which is fortunate enough to have an exceptional view of the Mont Blanc mountain range; unfortunately, the weather was overcast and even rainy. A friend and I shared a very good quality spit-roasted beef, served with perfectly grilled sliced ​​potatoes, homemade sauces, and a mixed green salad. For dessert, a magical chocolate mousse delighted my taste buds. A very decent glass of Côtes-du-Rhône accompanied the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant; the owner and waitress are very friendly.

We ate on the terrace with a beautiful view of the mountains. Good Savoyard cuisine. We enjoyed our meal and the staff were pleasant.

This year, we tried a new dish! Spit-roasted meat 😋 and raclette. (2026)

A Great Time! A lovely evening with aperitifs served on the terrace with a smile. A Warm Welcome! We were delighted by the quality of the fresh perch fillets from the lake and the brilliant idea of ​​the pan-fried potatoes, just like Grandma Fifine used to make! The desserts 🍨 were equally impressive, generous and delicious! In short...the fir tree sauce did the rest...not too sweet or too thick... 5/5

We come as often as possible in the summer for the view and the peace and quiet, let's not deny it, the menu suits us very well and I especially love the dessert 😉😉

We haven't eaten, just had delicious craft beers. Spectacular views.
