Le Vieux Vallon sur Vallon-Pont-D'Arc

We had a wonderful weekend in the Ardèche cabin. Everything is well-designed, and the welcome was simply excellent. A huge thank you to Jean-Baptiste and Sylvie, who were exceptionally kind. We will definitely return and recommend the campsite to our friends and family. It's very well located, well-equipped, close to Vallon, and the pool is fantastic 👍🏼

A last-minute, impromptu weekend getaway meant finding a campsite in a hurry, but in June I wasn't too worried and trusted the reviews, and what a surprise! A fantastic discovery: a small, friendly campsite with terraced grounds, which eliminates the feeling of overcrowding. We were in a tent; the pitches were spacious and shaded, which is a real plus in the Ardèche sun. And even if you get too hot, the swimming pool is there to cool you off! Everything is extremely well-maintained; the sanitary facilities are spotless, both the toilets and showers. In short, I highly recommend this campsite, and the icing on the cake is Sylvie—she's the epitome of genuine kindness; you can't help but love her. We were very happy with our stay! From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome. The entire team was incredibly attentive, and you really feel the friendly, family atmosphere of the campsite. The chalet was magnificent, with a superb terrace offering a beautiful view of the mountains. We also really enjoyed the swimming pool and the campsite's location, which was perfect for exploring the region. A cozy and peaceful campsite with breathtaking views. Here you can fully enjoy the tranquility and nature. At the same time, you're quickly in the heart of the lively Ardèche region or in Vallon-Pont-d'Arc. Perfect for those seeking relaxation but who still appreciate excursions and activities in the surrounding area. We had a lovely stay. The campsite is spotless, the restrooms are very clean, and the pool is too. The place is wonderful. Beautiful bike rides, fantastic! The only problem we encountered was last weekend when a group of 28 campers came and caused such a disturbance that we couldn't stay any longer (noise, sometimes inappropriate remarks, and a party that went on forever). In short, we decided to leave... it was unbearable. But we will be back because the campsite and the entire staff are charming. We will definitely return. It's a shame the campsite accepts such uncivilized campers.

We spent three nights in an adventure tent, and Sylvie and her team were simply wonderful. The campsite is friendly and has a very family-oriented atmosphere. The tent was very well equipped, and the cleanliness of the communal facilities was very satisfactory. It's close to places of interest and several activities.

A magnificent campsite a 20-minute walk from Vallon-Pont-d'Arc with breathtaking views. There are 40 pitches in total, making it a small, welcoming, and friendly campsite. It's not very suitable for very young children (which is actually a good thing, to be honest). The mobile homes are all renovated and very well laid out with plenty of storage. The communal showers are very clean. The swimming pool is cleaned regularly and is also very clean with plenty of sun loungers. There's a ping-pong table and a pétanque court. The campsite manager is very helpful, sociable, and friendly; he takes good care of his guests with excellent recommendations for activities in the surrounding area (canoeing, treetop adventure courses, etc.). I highly recommend it if you want to spend a holiday in the Ardèche.

Forget the five-star campsites for a moment. Here, the view is stunning, the owners are incredibly friendly, and there are nice spots for campers!

Perched high up with a magnificent view over the valley, the pitches are well shaded and the campsite is ideally located, close to the center of Vallon-Pont-d'Arc and the Ardèche Gorges. The swimming pool is great! The managers are really very friendly and welcoming. Clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities. Calm and family-friendly atmosphere. An excellent campsite that I highly recommend! We'll be back. Thank you to the team! 🙏
