Arriving late on December 30, 2025, in Boulogne-sur-Mer, we had a lot of trouble finding an open restaurant that could accommodate all five of us! Fort des Caps was immediately available and was only a 15-20 minute drive away in the end. The atmosphere was like a brasserie: friendly and relaxed. We had a great time, and it was so nice to be served after our long journey.
The food was excellent, no complaints whatsoever. The dishes were well-prepared, beautifully presented, and offered good value for money.
All in all, a very good experience. The only negative point, if there has to be one, would be the slightly small parking lot and the fact that there was a lot of turnover, which created quite a buzz, but ultimately, this is a rather positive sign and proves that this restaurant is simply very popular. The staff, despite being everywhere at once, remained friendly, helpful, and smiling!
A great display of dedication despite the rush.

We ate there several times during our previous stay, and it was considerably better then than this time. Even though we were there before it got busy, we still had to wait quite a while, and they'd ask how you'd like your steak cooked, and then they'd cook it like nothing.

We discovered this restaurant during a weekend in Ambleteuse, and it quickly became our go-to spot. The welcome was warm, efficient, and friendly. They always try to find you a small table.
The menu is quite extensive but focuses on reliable regional favorites. The prices are reasonable.
The service was very efficient, professional, and friendly. We had a wonderful customer experience thanks to the waitstaff. The dishes were explained clearly and served rather quickly after our aperitif.
We particularly enjoyed the chicken with Maroilles cheese. It was absolutely delicious. The Baked Alaska was also delicious, and its presentation was very well thought out. We visited this establishment three times over two days, so I think we can definitely recommend it.

We arrived around 3:30 PM, having not yet eaten dinner. The staff was very welcoming, and the kitchen is open continuously. We ordered pizzas and flammekueche. Everything was delicious and served quickly, but it wasn't very busy during the lunch rush. However, I know the place well, and it's always packed whenever I walk by. I think it's best to make a reservation.

This elegant and modern brasserie offers a warm welcome and a pleasant atmosphere. The menu is varied, with fish, mussels, meat, pasta, Welsh rarebit, daily specials… there’s something for everyone. The tuna daily special was excellent, perfectly prepared and very well accompanied. I highly recommend it! Don’t forget to book in advance.

I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The coffee was excellent, the waitress very friendly, and the relaxed atmosphere made it a truly pleasant place. You can tell the welcome is genuine, which makes you want to come back for a meal next time.

As usual, I didn't have time to take photos of everything since it was always excellent. The wine of the day was superb. We always end our stay on a high note. Just one small drawback: it's still too noisy. People seem to think that because it's not a Michelin-starred restaurant, they act as if they own the place.
