"Le Village" in Choisy-au-Bac... a lovely discovery, this small bistro restaurant in the heart of the village is perfect for a mother-daughter lunch... a gem for the taste buds!!
The welcome is warm, friendly, and attentive, and the setting is very pleasant (small room for 30 people).
A minimalist menu (changed regularly) with a choice of 2 starters, 2 main courses, and/or 2 desserts for less than €40... But the cuisine is refined and flavorful, made with fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients.
Undeniably more than adequate value for money.
For my part, I opted for a Toulouse sausage (designed by the chef himself... a killer flavor) with mashed potatoes and caramelized onions, finished with a warm apricot clafoutis.
My eldest, meanwhile, chose cod with fregola risotto and finished with a peach gazpacho with its fruit. To accompany everything, on recommendation, we opted for a glass of "Marius" white wine. An excellent choice.
In short, we enjoyed ourselves from start to finish!!
And we'll each return without hesitation.
I highly recommend this restaurant... however, I think it's best to make a reservation because today was a packed house 😉
