Very good! Unfortunately, the dessert we wanted was no longer available on the lunch menu, but the waiter was accommodating and gave us raspberries instead of strawberries.

The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and so helpful.
Our French is terrible but they were so acomadating.
Would highly recommend this place. Only one tging and this is not the The Village fault it's a hard walk to the top knf the hill but it's worth it. Thank You Giles Anderson from Melton Mowbray.

We came as part of the "Families in Celebration" event. The exterior is lovely, and the waitresses were friendly but overwhelmed by the crowds. The set menu was €24.50 for a starter/main course or a main course/dessert. The starter was decent, but we were disappointed with the main course: three small pieces of panisse, a piece of fennel, and two pieces of chicken. There was no sauce for either the vegetables or the chicken, resulting in a tasteless and underwhelming meal. The wait was long. In short, perhaps it's better outside of the holidays when it's less crowded!

The servers were attentive and very friendly, and the food was flavorful and plentiful.
Unfortunately, the manager, a woman who speaks extremely rudely to her staff and customers (we asked her if a pregnant woman could eat a particular dish, and she haughtily replied that she wasn't a doctor). We had to recount the bill five times with her, as she claimed 50 euros were missing, even though there was a 50 euro tip for the staff. She offered no apology whatsoever and remained very aggressive. Hopefully, this woman won't be there when you visit; if she is, you'll quickly realize it.

If you want to have a good time without any fuss, without stressing yourself out, while eating simple, good and pleasant dishes while being well accompanied and served, do not hesitate to stop in the village.
