Le V.I.P sur Perpignan

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Perpignan. I usually stop by here every time I visit the city. Remember to book a table. The restaurant is well-visited and has many regulars and it is almost always full for lunch. On this visit, I had a selection of dishes from the menu of the day. I chose squid rings with sweet and sour sauce for a starter. Pork jowl for the main course and for dessert nougat ice cream on a base of chestnut cream, on top a little whipped cream. I finished with coffee. All the dishes were beautifully presented and simply delicious. The service was as always friendly, welcoming, attentive and present. And lightning fast. The atmosphere of the place. Good and cozy. Highly recommended as a good restaurant to visit if you come to the city. REMEMBER TO BOOK A TABLE.

Excellent service and quality of food.

We ordered the hot cheese croustillant, the black pudding with potatoes, and the redfish en papillote, and everything was incredibly delicious. Finally, a place serving tasty, high-quality, homemade French food! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant has a very warm and homey decor. We'll be back!

As a loyal customer over the years... after more than 20 years! I would like to thank the team and this restaurant for remaining among my references. With choice, quality and variations but always with a smile, friendliness and good humor. When I go elsewhere, it is either "always the same" or "without personality", and then I say to myself "thankfully there are still restaurants like this one". We've visited Le VIP several times throughout the summer and autumn. Great food and great service from friendly staff. Our little dog is always made welcome too. A lovely setting in central Perpignan, but in a relatively quiet side street, so perfect for outdoor dining, which is always our preference.

A wonderful discovery! We had a wonderful time at VIP. The welcome was warm and professional, with a passionate waiter who presented the dishes to us in a remarkable way, and an attentive waitress who took great care of us. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere friendly, and above all... the dishes were a real treat! The blend of flavors was perfectly mastered, from start to finish. A restaurant that I recommend without hesitation, as much for the quality of its cuisine as for the attention and kindness of its staff.
