We came to this establishment as a couple. It's very pleasant, quiet, and the food is excellent. Thank you to the manager for maintaining such a firm hand and making it a superb place.

Perpignan doesn't offer many restaurants open for lunch on Mondays, and it was pure chance that led us to VIP and its shaded terrace, practically at the foot of the Castillet. The daily menu, both local and original, convinced us to sit down, and we were so glad we did. The grilled Catalan black pudding with a gratin dauphinois as good as my grandmother's (from Grenoble), and the grilled slices of lomo with homemade fries had already whetted our appetites for a return visit; the delectable desserts sealed the deal. All this for a set lunch menu at €20 per person! Undoubtedly one of the best places in the region.

A delight! We enjoyed every bite. Real tablecloths and cloth napkins (a rarity these days). All enhanced by the kindness and friendliness of the staff, in a charming setting. We will gladly return on our next trip to Perpignan. We highly recommend this restaurant.

29/07/2026: A fantastic discovery! Special mention for the dessert! We thoroughly enjoyed it; the ingredients were fresh and expertly prepared, and the menu was incredibly affordable. The service was excellent, in a calm and understatedly elegant setting. I highly recommend it, and we'll be back very soon with friends.
