We came to this establishment as a couple. It's very pleasant, quiet, and the food is excellent. Thank you to the manager for maintaining such a firm hand and making it a superb place.

Perpignan doesn't offer many restaurants open for lunch on Mondays, and it was pure chance that led us to VIP and its shaded terrace, practically at the foot of the Castillet. The daily menu, both local and original, convinced us to sit down, and we were so glad we did. The grilled Catalan black pudding with a gratin dauphinois as good as my grandmother's (from Grenoble), and the grilled slices of lomo with homemade fries had already whetted our appetites for a return visit; the delectable desserts sealed the deal. All this for a set lunch menu at €20 per person! Undoubtedly one of the best places in the region.

A delight! We enjoyed every bite. Real tablecloths and cloth napkins (a rarity these days). All enhanced by the kindness and friendliness of the staff, in a charming setting. We will gladly return on our next trip to Perpignan. We highly recommend this restaurant.

A magnificent culinary experience with incredibly flavorful fish and meat, delicious clams, and a truly divine chocolate dessert. Thank you for treating my dog ​​and us so well, Carol and Jeron. You are wonderful people. We will recommend you to all our friends. 😊

16/06/2026: A wonderful time spent on a lush green patio. Very welcoming, with big smiles from the moment we arrived. The charcuterie platter was very generous and could easily be shared by two, followed by an excellent 250g beef fillet cooked exactly as I like it, rare and hot, with homemade fries and a superb peppercorn sauce. For my wife, the cod gratin with aioli was a generous portion and well-accompanied. Tiramisu and profiteroles completed the meal. The price was very reasonable considering the quality and quantity. Keep up the good work, you've got it all figured out!
15/06/2026: We enjoyed some excellent cargolades. However, we were all disappointed by the desserts: the Pavlova meringue was very hard, the tiramisu much too soft (probably a refrigeration issue), and the profiteroles were made with clearly defrosted choux pastry. It's a real shame, because the setting and the food are of a very high standard.

You can taste the expertise and the joy on the plate, where all your senses are awakened. Beautiful, delicious, and fresh... Impeccable welcome and service, and delicate, flavorful cuisine. Delighted! I highly recommend this already renowned restaurant. Special mention goes to the surprise 8-course menu today, and the absolutely extraordinary chocolate ganache dessert.
