A beautiful family home where we have always been happy to return for almost 3 decades.
I reserved a table stating that it was my mother's birthday. I forgot to say it again on the big day. Fortunately, not them. My mother was surprised to have a candle and a beautiful birthday plaque (in chocolate) on her dessert. She was delighted.
The menu was succulent and refined. The perfect quantities. Large selection of wines. Appetizers and sweets appreciated.
Very great kindness from everyone, and great care for the well-being of our dog.
Big plus: the digestive walk to go to the ND de la Piétat chapel, a must.

Un régal de À à Z!
- Mets divins (foie gras au torchon, gambas à la ventrêche, pâtes fourrées à la truffe, Porc Noir du Bigorre, Pintade… tout, TOUT, a été parfait, vraiment un régal pour le palais…
- Nous avons eu un service aux « petits oignons » : tout le personnel, Chef inclu, a été aux petits soins pour nous, prenant en compte nos goûts et nos besoins
- Vins appropriés et très bons aussi
… Bref, venir manger ici est un véritable « Must » quand on est dans le coin!!

Fort bonne cuisine. Menu découverte à 53€. Service sympa surtout de la part de la jeune serveuse et de la réceptionniste. La carte des vins propose un bon choix avec des prix abordables. C’est aussi un hôtel. Le frère du chef tient le café-restaurant sur la place. Ne pas manquer la visite de la superbe abbaye et de la belle chapelle à l’extérieur du village mais visible de la terrasse du resto.

Loved our stay at this hotel. The rooms are beautiful and the staff was so lovely and helpful. The restaurant was amazing too. The hotel is in perfect location, within short driving distance to all the main sites we wanted to see

I think it is the fourth time I come back to Le Viscos during the last 6 or 7 years. It is a good hotel with a fine restaurant on a fantastic location.
However, it is becoming too expensive for the quality offered overall, despite their good service.
In my room, on the second floor, the hot water was just warm and not hot. When checking out I shared this to the owner.
Will I return? Well, if the prices keep going up I will check other places as well.
