We had a wonderful stay for our minimoon. The Saint Martin family are exceptionally helpful and welcoming – truly attentive hosts.
They even prepared a delicious dinner for us on Monday evening when the restaurant was closed. A special mention goes to the eggs with bacon at breakfast (a real treat!). Despite the unpredictable weather, they recommended some superb hikes and were even kind enough to lend us a rain jacket, as we weren't properly equipped. Truly lovely people, which makes all the difference.
We came on the recommendation of my parents – and we will definitely return. The hotel is ideally located for exploring the surrounding area.
Finally, don't miss the Bistrot de l’Abbaye, run by the family: perfect for a more relaxed lunch or dinner, but just as delicious.
We had the delightful pleasure to discover Le Viscos restaurant during a trip to Lourdes.
Not only the food was exquisite, but the service was impeccable and the welcome warm, genuine and friendly!
A must try♥️
It’s amazing the way they treated us! We had a car accident and we stayed there over the night. I have no words to describe now well we’ve been treated!
We dined at Le Viscos restaurant on December 24th and had a wonderful time.
The service was excellent: professional, attentive, and pleasant throughout the meal.
As for the food, we enjoyed a delicious meal with flavorful dishes and generous portions.
Here is the menu we were served:
• Foie gras, spiced ginger cookies
• Lobster quenelle, creamy velouté sauce
• Poached capon, Bigorre black pork crépinette with truffle and chestnut mousseline
• Pistachio éclair and morello cherry sorbet
Everything was delicious and beautifully presented, from start to finish.
We highly recommend this restaurant, ideal for a festive meal or a special occasion. A great place to remember!
