One of our favorite restaurants in Provence. Always a warm reception and excellent, smiling service. The dishes are beautiful with flavors that surprise and delight. In particular the current offering of dorade comes with an amazing fermented carrot broth. I wish I had some of this to make a Bloody Mary! Merci beaucoup pour un dîner magnifique.

A truly delightful experience at this "breeding ground" of combined talent. A huge congratulations to the entire team for their delicious and surprising cuisine, smooth and pleasant service, and a special mention to the sommelier who perfectly mastered her wine pairings. An evening to be repeated without hesitation, with excellent value for money. Thank you for this fantastic time!

We discovered Le Vivier for my sweetheart's birthday and had an exceptional time. The six-course tasting menu with wine pairings was incredible; each dish was refined and delicious. The staff was lovely from beginning to end, with a special mention for the sommelier, who was very attentive and passionate. Thank you also for the lovely touch of the little candle at the end of the meal. We will gladly return on our next visit to the region!

We dined at Le Vivier and had a somewhat mixed experience.
Pros: As expected from a Michelin-starred establishment, the service staff and waiters were excellent throughout the evening. They were courteous, attentive, and genuinely kind, constantly checking on our needs without being intrusive. The table we were given was also lovely — situated on a bridge directly above the beautiful River Sorgue, which created a very charming and elegant atmosphere. Some of the appetizers were enjoyable, and one of the desserts was particularly good.
Cons: Overall, however, I was not especially impressed by the food itself. The very first appetizer had a distinctly bitter taste that did not appeal to me personally. Perhaps it is an acquired taste or intended for a more adventurous palate, but I believe it contained tuna roe, which I like. But the bitterness turned me off. A couple of the later small appetizers were better balanced.
The main issue for us was the pork course. The pork was served extremely rare, red inside and we had not been informed beforehand that it would be prepared in that style. We were uncomfortable eating pork at that level of rawness , and clearer communication from the kitchen would have been appreciated.
The desserts were acceptable overall, though not particularly memorable apart from one course. In the end, despite the beautiful setting and excellent hospitality, the culinary experience itself did not fully meet our expectations for a Michelin-starred restaurant. I am not certain that I would return again.

What a wonderful rediscovery! The delicious culinary journey is complemented by a very helpful team dedicated to their customers and a beautiful view of the Sorgue River. We will definitely return to dine on the terrace.

This is a Michelin-starred restaurant with delicious and appetizing dishes that awaken the taste buds, generous portions, elegant interior design, and friendly service. It's a great value for money restaurant. This is my third Michelin-starred restaurant in the South of France, after Pollen and Avenio, and it's definitely a must-visit for me when I'm in the South of France. Highly recommended!

Flawless, from the creativity and cooking to the presentation, everything was perfect. Thank you, Mr. Gandolphe. A wonderful team of collaborators: the reception staff, the sommelier, and the waitresses and waiters were all efficient and appreciated for their humor. We are in a truly beautiful establishment, as its longevity proves.
