Very good food, you can see that the dishes have been well prepared beforehand. Beautiful blends, original taste experiences. Limited quantity for good eaters however. The same cannot be said for the deplorable service... No smile, no presentation of the dishes, no empathy towards the customer... Too bad for this type of restaurant. With a bit of good humor and determination we would have had a much better time! We've only been there once but we don't want to set foot there again because of the atmosphere...

Excellent meal. The monkfish is succulent, garnished with dried bonito, which gives an unexpected liveliness to the plate. The service would benefit from being more warm and friendly. Depending on the prices charged, we expect both quality in the preparation of the dishes (this is the case) and in the service. I missed the kitchen staff who cross the room, at the end of service, with the trash bags to take them out… But otherwise, it’s a good address that I recommend.

L’accueil est sympathique et le service est efficace. Le restaurant dispose de plusieurs petites salles et les tables ne sont pas accolées, c’est agréable. Les plats sont savoureux, recherchés et renouvelés. La carte des vins est de qualité et variée.

Pour un déjeuner, les menus découverte et gourmand ne peuvent être panachés. Il faut impérativement prendre 3 plats (E P D) pour bénéficier du menu gourmand, bien plus alléchant. Apéritif ; champagne : trop longue attente (après l'avoir fait remarquer) pour avoir un accompagnement minimaliste. Les plats sont bons ne sont pas exceptionnels. Un peu déçu. Expérience à renouveler, le midi car les prix des plats compris dans les menus sont trop élevés à la carte le soir, et uniquement avec le menu gourmand.

13/12/2024: L'endroit parfait pour un déjeuner entre amis à son rythme dans un cadre serein, aéré et luxueux. Nous reviendrons aux beaux jours, pour profiter des extérieurs.
13/09/2024: We just returned from our second stay at Maison du Val, and once again, it was absolutely amazing—we didn’t want to leave! It’s such a perfect escape from the city, and the best part is that it’s so easy to get to from central Paris. Just a quick ride on the RER A, and within an hour you’re surrounded by the most stunning grounds, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The setting is absolutely breathtaking. The lush greenery and beautiful landscape make you feel like you’re in the countryside, even though Paris is so close by. Whether you’re exploring the grounds or just relaxing, it’s a stunning place to unwind. One of the highlights for us was the Sunday brunch—it’s simply incredible! The variety and quality of the food were top-notch, and it really felt like a special experience. We could’ve stayed at the table for hours just enjoying the delicious offerings. For families, Maison du Val is a dream. The kids’ club and activities kept our little ones entertained the whole weekend. They had a blast with all the fun things to do, and it gave us adults some much-needed downtime to enjoy the other amenities. Speaking of which, there’s so much to do! The game rooms, cinema, and Nordic bath were huge hits for us, and all these free facilities really make the stay interesting and packed with activities. Whether you want to relax or keep busy, there’s something for everyone. As for the rooms, they’re not overly luxurious, but they’re comfortable and have everything you need for a relaxing stay. Given all the other amazing aspects of the hotel, the rooms were perfectly fine for us. All in all, Maison du Val continues to be one of our favorite weekend getaways. We can’t wait to return again and enjoy everything it has to offer! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat close to Paris.

La Cantine de Marius

15/08/2024: J'ai découvert cet établissement via du bouche à oreilles mais j'avoue que je ne l'avais jamais remarqué avant. Il se situe en face du château, mais légèrement en retrait de la grande rue et un peu dissimulé derrière les grands arbres de la petite place. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une petite table sous les arbres, c'était trop agréable, au calme à côté d'un olivier. Ca sentait bon les vacances! Le service est pro, rien à dire, on sent la passion du métier! Les plats sont inspirés de la cuisine corse. Un petit rosé corse, tentacules d'encornet au piment d'Espelette à la purée de maïs très surprenante, suivi d'une nage d'agrumes à la citronnelle pour moi. Tout était très bon, fin, bien présenté comme j'aime. Et la nage d'agrumes était sensationnelle en saveurs, bravo! Une très bonne adresse à St Ger, qui se démarque clairement des restaurants autour trop banals et sans effort (pardon pour eux..)
28/07/2024: Excellent Corsican restaurant, excellent food, excellent hospitality. Simply highly recommended. A must! Dined in again, it is still marvelous! All food in the menu is great, just tasty. The atmosphere is also excellent, and the service is absolutely top!
