Always a pleasure to dine at Wauthier. It's a shame the menu doesn't change much, to put it mildly, but the dishes are good, with a special mention for the sweetbreads. The wine list is decent (avoid the set menu). The atmosphere and service are a bit lackluster.

A delightful restaurant serving delicious meals with a smile. I loved the sweetbreads, which I highly recommend. The €79 set menu, including drinks (champagne and wine), is definitely worth it. A private room is available for events. Go without hesitation.

Le Wauthier is undoubtedly the best restaurant in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. It's impossible to resist the Chef's signature dishes: the lobster risotto and the sweetbreads! And even when you venture beyond the classics, you'll still be delighted: homemade foie gras, crab chowder, etc.: a true delight! A restaurant for gourmands and gourmets alike. All the guests at this dinner particularly appreciated the service, especially Serge.

Good bistro-style food, efficient service. For wine, if you don't have a carafe or a small glass, choose a bottle because three small glasses (10cl) cost the same as a whole bottle. €4.50 for an espresso? Hmm, that's a bit steep.

A wonderful discovery. The €79 all-inclusive menu is truly excellent. The dishes are superb (a minor point about the starter of three shrimp, which was a bit small), but the rest was well-portioned, as you don't expect to have overflowing plates. A thoughtful yet discreet touch for my birthday and my son's was a small candle on the dessert.

12/07/2026: Tried it tonight for a birthday and it was absolutely fantastic! The menu had a wide variety of choices (for all dietary needs), the dishes were delicious and truly original compared to other crêperies, and above all, the service was perfect. Thank you to the two servers who were very friendly, quick, and attentive, making sure we had a wonderful evening.
