Le Zagaya sur Pornic

Thank you to the entire Zagaya team for a wonderful evening, with impeccable and friendly service, as well as refined and delicious cuisine. The staff were always smiling, and our dishes were excellent. Special mention goes to the desserts, as well as the bavette steak cooked exactly as we requested (quite rare in restaurants these days), with an unforgettable pepper sauce ;). If we are ever in Pornic again, we will gladly return!

After making our reservation, we had a lovely, relaxed time. The service was excellent and the meal delicious! I recommend it 200%!

A beautiful restaurant with an idyllic location to enjoy the seaside. The food is very good and served with care. However, the service needs improvement; we felt like we were bothering them and wasn't very welcoming.

The restaurant is beautifully situated in a bay. Ideal for playing on the beach and in the sea with the children after dinner. It is also pleasant to sit inside. There is air conditioning in the inner section and fans in the front section. The food arrived very quickly. Perhaps a little too quickly; you could tell that everything had already been prepared for a while. My husband had beef tartare, in which the onion flavor was too overpowering, likely because it had been marinating for too long. I ordered sea bass, which was tasty, but didn't taste freshly cooked. The children had steak haché with fries, which was okay... Ice cream was included in the children's menu. The lady, whom I suspect was the owner, came to place the ice cream on the table while my son was still eating. She cleared our plates and took his fork with her. That really spoiled the atmosphere; you got the feeling that you had to leave as soon as possible. And that while there were still many tables available and the restaurant wasn't closing yet... One of the toilets was broken.

A wonderful discovery! Our friends had been coming here every summer for several years, and we had a truly excellent time. The food is excellent, flavorful, and of very high quality. The staff is very warm, kind, and attentive. The setting is truly magnificent: a sea view, and with a reservation, you can get a table right on the sand. This is especially pleasant with children, who can enjoy the surroundings while they eat. The only slight drawback noted by our friends, who know the restaurant well, was that the portions seemed a little smaller than in previous years. A bit more generosity on the plates would be appreciated. Otherwise, the quality is impeccable, and the prices are perfectly in line with the service and setting offered. A great place to eat in Pornic!

The food is very good, but the quality varies. The fries are extremely good, but the steak is very tough.

We had lunch at the restaurant today and were very satisfied with both the food and the service. We enjoyed a very generous seafood platter, accompanied by a Muscadet wine – just what we needed. The setting is very pleasant, the only restaurant in Pornic right on the sand! But a good restaurant isn't just about the setting. The service isn't unpleasant, but you get the feeling they shouldn't be bothered too much… the food isn't bad, but it's missing something… for example, a risotto sold with octopus that's more cooked rice than risotto. Sangria served in a small glass without fruit. The wine list, on the other hand, is overpriced. In short, it's not bad; if you come for the setting and to have a good time, you won't be disappointed. But it lacks many details to make it a place you'd want to return to when you're not just passing through.

We received a very warm welcome, the restaurant was excellent, the menu was perfect and of very high quality, just steps from the beach, a very beautiful location
