1. Pizza for take away is a 1 hour wait. 2. Not really a pizza, more like a flat bread/fajita style. The dough doesn't rise, isn't chewy like a good pizza base. Plain flat flour, side are burnt middle is even slightly on the uncooked side. No air in the crust. 3. Topping are nice. E.g. tomato sauce. The mozzarella isn't the best quality. I was quite excited about trying these pizzas, due to the hype of this place. But I was actually disappointed and will not bother again. Unfortunate.

A wonderful experience! The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is homemade and you can tell. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

What a great find! This authentic pizzeria has pizzas with a very thin crust that doesn't weigh you down, at least! I opted for the half anchovy, half cheese pizza and I loved it! However, the service was a bit slow, and the tiramisu was a weak point—far too soggy!

Overrated... This pizzeria only survives because of its reputation, but it's far from amazing; it's too crowded, and eating in is a nightmare.

19/01/2026: A superb experience at this bistro. Generous portions and very fast service. An ideal place to grab a coffee or a bite to eat before catching your train. Courteous and efficient service, thank you again.
28/12/2025: I was delighted with my visit to Caffè San Carlo, right next to Saint-Charles train station, as the staff served me with great professionalism and kindness. I enjoyed fresh and tasty dishes, with excellent value for money for Marseille. The service was quick, even during peak hours, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. I will definitely return on my next trip to the city 😊🍝☕️
