L'Echaillon sur La Salle-Les-Alpes

And summer too! We knew winter but not yet summer. Apart from the snow, the big difference is the calm! To get up there, it's worth it but access via the Casse du Boeuf chairlift is possible and it becomes easier. Then in less than 15 minutes of descent we arrive at Echaillon. Great welcome, games for children, pétanque, darts... You can spend the afternoon there! For the meal, the salads are superb but we decided to go with 2 magnificent beef ribs. Bravo for the sauces which accompany wonderfully. We will come back!

Everything was perfect during our visit on July 17, 2024. The splendid view, the spaced terrace tables, the wine list, the barbecue grills - we hadn't eaten such a good duck breast for a while - the games that kept our children busy (bouncy castle, swing, trampoline), ultra-attentive service. The prices were really reasonable for a mountain restaurant. Thank you again for taking pity on us and bringing my tired mother back to the Casse du Boeuf. Children will remember this jeep ride for a long time. We will definitely come back in winter and hope that the prime rib will still be on the menu.

Chairlift ride, fun for the family. 20' walk in the forest, in the fresh air. And the immense pleasure of finding a family restaurant. Friendly and smiling welcome. Excellent salads and grills. Top fries. The setting is magnificent.

A new team which has been able to revitalize this place a little away from the main track. Very good cuisine, a breathtaking view from a terrace bathed in the sun, and service with a smile and frankly couldn't be more pleasant. And the prices are affordable for a high-altitude restaurant! Go there with your eyes closed!

As soon as we walked through door covered in snow we were welcomed by delightfully friendly staff. Our waitress was accomodating and a great laugh. Recommending the local galabier beer on tap, which she was absolutely right. The american pale ale has citrus notes and the Blanche had a lovely taste and full body. There's a great wine selection too. The food was exceptional across the board. I had the salade d'echaillon which was plentiful after a hard mornings ski in the off piste, filled with scrumptious pieces of delicately smoked trout, well dressed puy lentils, leaves and cherry tomatoes of all colours. The croutons were obviously handmade, good size, cooked with herbs and garlic, perfectly crunchy. Far superior than the bought ones. All at a very reasonable price, will be visiting again when in the area.

There is one thing that I did, I was interested in the fabric where the name of the restaurant is written of course, it is polyester

Very friendly setting, large room around a fireplace, an appetizing menu with its variety, note the exceptional andouillette and the very tasty deserts, a smiling and attentive service, good atmosphere, good place, a ski break which leaves good memories and desire to come back

Super high-altitude restaurant, well located in a quiet area and with a magnificent view, very pleasant on the terrace in the sun. The daily specials are excellent and not too expensive for a high-altitude restaurant.

Repris récemment c’est une très belle adresse sur les pistes. Un parisien amoureux de la montagne qui a posé ses valises dans ce merveilleux endroit. C’est efficace avec de très bons plats et une carte variée. L’équipe est sympathique et le service parfait. Bravo et hâte de revenir l’an prochain
