Decent food but nothing more. Not great gourmet coffee, bread that lacks freshness and tasteless appetizers. Conventional breakfast.

It's not often you want to dine in a hotel restaurant when so many establishments are just a stone's throw away, but the Échanson is worth sitting down for a moment of discovery. You will not have a plethora of options on the menu in starters, main courses, desserts and so much the better. I had the beef tataki to start, followed by a poultry supreme accompanied by fries and a succulent homemade mayonnaise, my wife opted for the cupbearer burger. The day before I had a steak accompanied by a good Anjou rosé or even glasses of red wine served by the glass, forgetting the port would be sacrilege just like the glass of champagne. Brief ! A good value for money which is worth the detour to try the adventure without having to run here and there when you arrive at the hotel to find something to sustain you. Do not also forget the staff who work in this place, I was served by a charming, polite, professional young man (Mr Valentin) who knows the products well and also knows how to help customers in the language of Shakespeare, attentive and considerate without him, without them the restaurant would be nothing. Also don't forget one of his colleagues of the same ilk who has a look/presence worthy of the tiger brigades (old-timers will understand) just as welcoming and warm as his named colleague. Brief ! A good time spent remaking the world in a somewhat refined place and in which background music could have enveloped this place, this is a detail, a figment of the mind!
