L'Echappée sur Modane

A WONDERFUL DISCOVERY For a long time, we'd been looking for a decent restaurant in Modane. Finally, we found it! Friendly and efficient service. Excellent home-style cooking. A simple menu, but everything is homemade. We won't hesitate to return on our next visit.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We weren't disappointed. The dishes are very good, well-prepared, and made with fresh, local ingredients. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this establishment.

Visited in mid-July for a set lunch menu and a vegetarian wok to go. Very nice restaurant and welcoming staff! The price-quality ratio is good, and the portions are very generous and the wok to go is nutritionally balanced.

Restaurant that I highly recommend

If you're coming from Italy and looking for a restaurant just after the Fréjus tunnel, I highly recommend this one in Modane. A very warm welcome despite the late hour (1:45 pm), simple but delicious cuisine made with fresh, market-sourced ingredients (everything is homemade), and a family atmosphere, all at a very good price-quality ratio, are key points I noted and found very appealing. I'll definitely be back as soon as I can; keep up the good work!
