L'Echoppe de Gustave - A79 sur Toulon-Sur-Allier

A pleasant, quiet area with a nice selection of drinks. Clean and simple.

A rest area, there are very few or none at all between Chalons and La Souterraine... don't miss it. Currently under construction, so it's a bit cramped inside.

The sanitary facilities are too complicated.

I stopped at this rest area for a break. My intuition told me to grab something to eat. Not used to sandwiches because they always seem to have more bread than filling... I decided to try a chicken curry. How can I put it... absolutely delicious, both the bread and the generous filling. 😋 And on top of that, the waitresses were so kind 🥰 One thing's for sure, I'll be back, both for the sandwiches and the staff 👏

The rest area is under construction, and some of the staff are barely friendly. As for the brasserie, one can hope for better service after the renovations; it's not pleasant to eat in the current drafts. This rest area deserves to be upgraded given the high volume of customers.

So-so, and yet it has the truckers' logo. This station has outdoor showers in bungalows, and breakfast (croissants, etc.) isn't served before 6:30 am. In short, very average.

Helpful and smiling staff despite the crowds.

As a truck driver, I definitely give this parking lot 5 stars. One of the best.

Great parking, all services for drivers

The station is currently undergoing renovations. Food service is affected by these disruptions. Fuel prices are quite reasonable.
