We are from Redon and are therefore loyal customers of the L'Écluse restaurant. We have never been disappointed; the pizzas are always generously topped, the dishes are always very fresh, and we have always received a warm welcome and a smile.

The pizzas were good.
The calzone I had on my last visit was very average.
The waiter was very good, but that's where the positives end.
On sunny days, there's a very pleasant terrace out back.
My only negative comment was the television screen being on; in my opinion, it doesn't belong in a restaurant.
But I can understand that some people who come to a restaurant alone might like to watch TV while eating.
L'Écluse restaurant has three different rooms, and the owner offered to seat me in a different section where I wouldn't see the TV, if I wished.

While traveling through this city, we ordered a "royal" pizza to take away by phone. It turns out this establishment offers both the "Reine" (traditional cheese, ham, and mushroom) and... the "Royale." As a result, we received a rather strange pizza (see menu), and one we certainly didn't enjoy. I'm still giving it 3 stars because I haven't tried the "Reine" or any of their other pizzas.
A little tip for the owner: find a different name for the "royal" pizza you offer 😉

We always receive a very warm welcome at this restaurant, and the food is excellent, with different dishes each time. Whether it's pizza, pasta, or salad, everything is delicious and generous.

I've been going to this restaurant for a while now, and I've always been well received. The waiters and the cook are always smiling and open to conversation. The food is very good and the service is very fast. I will be back.
