Excellent evening at the girls' school, cozy atmosphere in the well-appointed schoolyard. Dinner was superb: pork pluma and sea bream fillet, fresh, local, and seasonal produce! My husband and I started with a passion fruit and basil cocktail, which was delicious, although the basil flavor was quite subtle. We were served amuse-bouches with it, and I especially loved the zucchini and basil velouté – it was truly excellent. Next came our appetizers. I had the octopus mosaic, which was another delight. The octopus was incredibly tender, not to mention all the flavorful condiments. For our main courses, we were craving fish, so we chose the catch of the day: a hake fillet, accompanied by vegetables, including a kind of pepper piperade that was superb. It was cooked perfectly, and the fleur de sel on the table made it a real treat! For dessert, I chose the coconut cloud with exotic fruit coulis; I needed something light at the end of the meal, and it was perfect. I want to highlight the thoughtful touches, such as the limoncello at the end of the meal and the extra glass of wine, which was served by mistake but ultimately offered free of charge. We were already very satisfied with the meal, the service, and the lovely, airy setting despite the heat (34°C), so we were certain to award this restaurant 5 stars. Furthermore, I want to thank the entire service team who do a remarkable job, demonstrating a warm and friendly manner, efficiency, attentiveness, and a willingness to offer helpful advice. Thanks also to the kitchen team who delighted us with their meal, served promptly and efficiently. We waited very little time and were always served on schedule (appetizer, starter, main course, dessert, and digestif in 1 hour and 15 minutes). Well done to the whole team! Just so you know, they don't have air conditioning inside, but the outside is mostly shaded by trees with a light breeze, which was bearable for us, as we are sensitive to the heat.

My wife and I had the pleasure of discovering L’École des Filles this past Sunday, July 12th, and this delightful culinary experience will remain etched in our memories as a truly magical moment. From the very first bites, the chef's technical mastery and sensitivity were evident. The starter, a delicate basil panna cotta, captivated with its remarkable interplay of textures and the perfect balance of its refreshing, vegetal notes. A truly refined amuse-bouche that awakened the palate with elegance. The perfectly cooked hake fillet demonstrated a profound respect for the product. Its pearly flesh, accompanied by perfectly balanced seasonal vegetables, created a remarkably precise dish where each element found its natural place. The dessert, a contemporary reinterpretation of Black Forest cake, brought the meal to a brilliant close. Indulgent without ever being excessive, it revisited this classic with creativity, balance, and impeccable execution. Beyond the cuisine, the service also deserves the highest praise. Attentive, seamless, and perfectly orchestrated, it allowed us to enjoy an aperitif, starter, main course, and dessert in under an hour and a half, without ever feeling rushed. A performance that testifies to true professionalism. Our heartfelt congratulations to the chef and his team for this inspired, sincere, and generous cuisine, which so skillfully celebrates the flavors of Provence. An establishment where excellence is expressed naturally and which is undoubtedly worth a visit.
