The place itself is quite charming: a former girls' school, apparently later co-educational if the photos are anything to go by, with beautifully decorated interiors and a truly magnificent building.
The welcome and service were very professional from start to finish. You can tell the establishment is run by a family who know their business very well, with a serious approach but without being rigid.
We opted for the set menu of starter, main course, and dessert for €46. For me, the homemade foie gras was a real treat. The duck fillets with vegetables were cooked to perfection; everything was just right and well-balanced. And to finish, a vanilla cream with hints of citrus: a lovely way to conclude this superb lunch.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this characterful setting, enjoying authentic, high-quality French cuisine. An address we will gladly keep in mind.

Excellent welcome.
The owners were always attentive, serving white or red wine and bread.
The presentation of the dishes was superb.

As a tour guide for a group of 38 tourists from Vendée and Loire-Atlantique, we give this place a well-deserved 5 stars. The food and service were worthy of a 3-Michelin-starred restaurant, with generous portions to boot... Bravo and congratulations to the entire team for delighting our taste buds so much in such a friendly atmosphere. Don't change a thing. We wish you many more customers...

The place is charming and the food, especially the desserts, is excellent.
Unfortunately, the service is heavy-handed… Although it's a former school, the professorial attitude from another era should be left in the archives.
The condescending and icy service makes you absolutely not want to cross the threshold again.

Easily the best meal we’ve had around the region. Visited multiple times.
Every dish, from the perfectly seasoned meat to the fresh vegetables, was cooked to absolute perfection and balance.
Because it’s a hidden gem, you get incredible quality and fair prices without the impossible wait for a table.
