If there’s a restaurant I have to go to when I come to the island, it’s L’Ecume! My favorite ! All good ! Unbeatable value for money, refined cuisine, impeccable and pleasant service.

This restaurant is for us the best in Oléron. So much for the welcome, the quality of the cuisine, the generosity of the dishes and flavors. Wherever we go, we are always obliged to compare ourselves to our Scum. A rating of 5 is absolutely not enough. If there’s one restaurant to try in Oléron, it’s without hesitation this one! A huge thank you to the team for all the attention… (eggs extra for Monsieur)

Ce restaurant est fabuleux, la qualité de la cuisine, des portions généreuses, du fait maison. Un prix plus que raisonnable au regard de la qualité, un service très agréable. Ce restaurant prouve que faire bon à un prix correct est possible. Je ne mets pas souvent d avis mais la note de ce restaurant est largement mérité.

11/04/2024: Your establishment was a great discovery, we were in a campervan and we had a great time. The staff is adorable, the dishes cooked, visually, match perfectly with the flavors, an explosion in the mouth. All with a breathtaking view of the ocean. It was perfect, we will come back with pleasure during our next vacation.

27/03/2024: I walked past this restaurant, the lights were on, I came in, no one inside, just the owner on the phone. It was just noon. I thought it had just opened. In fact, no, it was not open that day. I was about to leave and he offered to make me something, I politely declined, telling him that if it wasn't open he wouldn't make me food. He insists, telling me that he is filling the fridges and that he has plenty! I accept. And frankly it was a great time. Very good dish, dessert also. There are still people with a sense of business and above all a beautiful humanity. Thank you sir. I will happily come back when you are open for real ;-)
20/03/2024: Very good dinner, quality products, homemade preparation, great discovery of flavors.
