Everything was perfect!
The welcome, the service, the terrace, and of course, the food.
The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. They accept holiday vouchers.

A delightful discovery; the dishes were well-prepared. We were less impressed with the desserts, which were less refined and elaborate. A major disappointment was the children's desserts, which were too sugary and acidic – a shame for such a pleasant surprise.

The daily menus are just perfect, delicious, with fresh, seasonal produce. The service is excellent, professional, simple, and unpretentious, making you feel right at home. The dining room and terrace are lovely, but it's close to the road (and might be noisy during peak season).

During a family weekend on the Île d'Oléron, we stopped for lunch at the restaurant L'Ecume. A truly wonderful culinary discovery, a feast for both the eyes and the palate.
