L'Embellie sur Sainte-Cecile

Very good food, the service is very professional, it has nothing to envy from the Georges Blanc restaurant for example.

Drawn in by their Bib Gourmand, we didn't hesitate to make the half-hour drive from Viré, crossing the magnificent Burgundy hills and passing through patches of fog. From the moment we arrived at the restaurant, we knew we'd made the right choice. The welcome was very pleasant, the dining room understated and tastefully decorated (it was just a few weeks before Christmas). After perusing the menus, we decided to try their tasting menu. And what a wonderful choice we were! The dishes arrived at the perfect pace, neither too fast nor too slow. The presentation was exquisite, the flavors perfectly balanced, and the portions were generous. The service was impeccable. Midway through the meal, we were treated to a "trou normand," a sorbet and verbena liqueur. This digestive interlude, increasingly rare in fine dining restaurants, proved to be a welcome respite. We finished the meal just as delighted as we were at the beginning, even feeling we'd almost eaten "too much." After paying, we chatted at length with the chef and his wife (who was in the dining room), and their passion was palpable. Being the last to arrive, we were even given a brief tour of their kitchen. We have only one thing to say: thank you, Chef, thank you, madam, for giving us such pleasure. The value for money is exceptional, and we will certainly return on our next trip to Burgundy. A must-try.

We visited this restaurant on Sunday, December 28th, and chose the €38 set menu. We thoroughly enjoyed the various dishes we selected. Furthermore, the dining room is very pleasant and has a lovely, warm atmosphere (thanks to the fireplace). Not to mention the warm and genuine welcome and the attentive, relaxed, yet efficient service. We will gladly return to L'Embellie.

We had a wonderful time at L'Embellie, enjoying the setting and the warm welcome of this restaurant. The food was a feast for both the palate and the eyes. Special mention goes to the octopus starter, so perfectly cooked that I almost thought I was eating lobster! The service, provided by a very efficient and pleasant gentleman, was simply perfect. A truly excellent restaurant that we will gladly return to.

A neat and welcoming setting with attentive staff. The food is excellent, as are the wines. This first visit will certainly not be the last. Excellent value for money.

Wonderful moment, delicious meal

Hello, I'm not one for posting reviews, but this time I was invited to celebrate my 30th birthday at this charming restaurant, and I had the opportunity to sample the tasting menu. It was a most enjoyable experience, punctuated by numerous culinary discoveries, each one more delicious than the last! The service, provided by a young man and the owner, was impeccable.
